Wig Size

how to choose the right one

Choose the wig size that’s right for you.

There is a right and a wrong way to select the right wig size. There are several types of wig caps based primarily on design, materials, construction, and purpose. When choosing your style, give consideration to what you want your wig to do for you. If you prefer off-the-face-styling, you will want a cap with a Lace Front for a natural-appearing hairline. If you prefer bangs, this feature is not as important and will be reflected in a lower price point. Or – do you want volume, multi-directional parting, comfort? Below is a list of cap designs by the Jon Renau line along with a YouTube video for a worthwhile explanation of construction and benefits.

Cap size is also important. Average is the most common. Adjusters provide up to a 1/2 inch left and right to further personalize the fit, especially if transitioning from hair to hair-loss, and vice versa. Please see diagram below and view this informative video by Jon Renau.
